3 Day Gorilla Safari

The drive to the home of the mountain Gorilla in the  thick dense forest of Bwindi will take us a pleasant 10 hours. This is where the largest population of the endangered mountain Gorillas in the world is resident. 

Day 1: Kampala-Bwindi impenetrable forest (9-10hrs)
Our journey to the Mountain Gorilla land starts at 6.30 am soon after your breakfast. It takes us southwestwards to Mbarara town. As we drive, catch sights of cattle akin to this land, the long horned cows of Ankole.  
Have a one hour lunch break. We shall pass through the large vast flat savanna lands to the amazing hilly slopes of Kigezi and finally to the impenetrable forest home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas!!
Dinner and overnight at Rushaga gorilla camp or Buhoma Community rest camp

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Arise early to the great forest sounds of the African Jungle for your breakfast.  With our packed lunch, we go for the pre- trek update from the rangers who will tell you what to expect in the Jungle. 
After your highly experiential Gorilla trek, we believe in giving back to the community. We shall participate in a village walk with all proceeds of this walk going directly to the locals. In all, Gorilla trekking in Bwindi is a memory to last your life time. 
Dinner and overnight at Rushaga gorilla camp or Buhoma community rest camp.

Day 3: Bwindi- Kampala/ Entebbe (10hrs)
A wake-up call from the jungle creatures ushers you to a new day with a hot delicious breakfast waiting for you. We then trace back with Lunch in Mbarara and another stop at the Equator.We drop you at the Airport for your late evening flight. (Hint: book flights after 7.00pm)
